The removal took place in several phases, beginning mid-February 2016, where our Move Manager and project team worked closely with the library during the project set-up stage to ensure the relocation took place in accordance with their specification.
Due to the refurbishment set to take place of East Sussex County Council’s Hastings Library, commencing in spring 2016, Johnsons Business Moves were awarded the project of decanting and relocating the library, following on from our success on their Seaford Library relocation.

A flexible approach was required on this project as confirmation of the materials, books, furniture and equipment being relocated was not made until shortly before the commencement of the project, due to the several locations items were being sent to.
Our Move Manager, who was based on site throughout, engaged with the staff and users of the library to ensure a smooth, successful running project.
