Pacman News – Update – March 2018

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to the March newsletter, there is definitely some positive news in this edition, especially the securing of the Interserve Contract, which should give us plenty of work in the coming year.

In order for us to deliver the service this year we have been looking at adding more people, places, vehicles and equipment.

So for a quick update on what we’ve done so far.

We are now employing some new Senior Supervisors throughout the country, in addition we have new drivers and porters that have recently joined us, we are actively recruiting throughout the UK to add new removal staff to help deliver our moves with Care, Integrity and Respect.

In London we have appointed a new Operations Manager, who will be starting in April, so more details will be put in our April newsletter. We are on the verge of signing a lease for a new depot in Brent Cross, London. This will be a huge step in helping us deliver the service in the London and south east region.

We have ordered two new 18 Tonne vehicles, the first is in the process of being built and should be coming into service towards the end of April. The second will arrive in July. We will be looking at getting some new sprinter vehicles as we get towards the summer.

With equipment, we will be adding a number of new Sack Trucks, Skates and Tool Kits, please look after the equipment, we buy it so that you can do your job, it needs looking after and making sure whatever we take out with us on a job, comes back with us.

Johnsons is growing, by the time we get to the end of this year, we will have more locations, with nearly 50 vehicles and over 100 members of staff, everyone who works here should be proud of what we can achieve when we all work together to help our customers.
