Pacman News – Update – April 2018

I hope you all had a Happy Easter and welcome to April’s addition of PacMan news.

This month brings with it, the start of our transition into new ways of working throughout Johnsons, with the introduction of Zoho One. Zoho One is a revolutionary all-in-one suite to run our entire business on one platform and will be introduced and rolled-out across the business in stages over the coming months.

Over the last 18 months, Johnsons Senior Management team have been looking at ways in which we can improve the customer journey and with it, their entire experience with Johnsons from start to finish. To enable this, we needed a system that could seamlessly link together or replace all of our existing applications and software; making us more collaborative and therefore a more innovative service provider to our customers.

We have already started the process with the base build and test of our new CRM system. Phases; Two to Four will be starting over the next few weeks, so I will be booking time with each department to discuss the solution and gain input from each of you.

The current implementation programme:

Phase One – New CRM

Estimated completion date March / April 2017. The base build has already been demonstrated to the Business Development team ready for roll out in the next few weeks.

Phase Two – Pre and Post Sales quotation functionality

This phase will include our new costing portal and quote builder functionality. It will also change the way our customers receive and interact with the quotations we send to them. The estimated build and roll out is to be completed by the end of May 18.

Phase Three – Accounts and Helpdesk

We will introduce a new accounts system and a help desk system to manage our customers; invoicing, support, Q&A’s and issue resolution. Both systems will allow users to support our customers in a more constructive way, replacing the endless emails that are sent throughout the business. The estimated build and roll out is to be completed by the end of May 2018.

Phase Four – Marketing automation and Project Management solutions

The Marketing insight will replace our existing software and will allow greater insight into our customers journey for the whole sales team.

The Project Management application will be used to manage internal Projects like Bids and Tenders and will be tested for its usability on external move projects, by the Projects team. Expected implementation and roll out to be completed by the End of June 2018.

Phase Five – Operations

We are still looking at options for this at the moment, this will be the final piece of the system and we aim to have it implemented before the end of the year.

As you can imagine, there is going to be a lot of change within the business throughout the year. It has been great to see so many of you supporting this change and adding value to the new system and its new ways of working. I look forward to speaking with each department over the coming months to ensure we design and integrate this new system into our business.

If anyone has any questions regarding the new system, please feel free to email me directly.

Have a great April 2018
